Animated Sweep? - GreenDK - 12-22-2023 Hello everybody. I am trying to make a "rainbow" animated sweep in 3DS Max 2023, but struggle. There does not appear to be any way to animate a sweep in 3DS Max, but maybe there is a way using tyFlow? The idea was to start with no object and then sweep all 3 colors, one by one from left to right. Can that be done using tyFlow? ![]() I was thinking simple voronoi destruction at first, using a unrenderable box and a surface test. But that did not seem quite right. Well.. there is... ![]() Tube primitive have an "Slice on" option that you can turn on and animate. You can also use Slice modifier for this, or (much faster) TySlice. Never thought about the tube prim. But you are right. That would be very easy. I will find some tySlice guides and look into that, in case its another type object. Thank you d4rk3lf and merry Xmas ![]() |
