How can i get these family bind to be stiffer? - ldotchopz - 01-22-2024 I am trying to get stiff cable like physics but they droop down at the base when simulated, I am using surface test, object bind, particle bind (family bind) to get this but the stiffness doesn't go up enough, and i cannot seem to make any difference using modify bindings, more steps etc. is there some way to have the object bind effectiveness phase out like a soft selection? Thanks RE: How can i get these family bind to be stiffer? - tyFlow - 01-22-2024 Have you tried angle binds after your assign your initial bind constraints? That will maintain the initial angle of the particles/binds better, resulting in less of a steep drop off to the sides.
