Vacuum pack - Taz3ds - 02-24-2024 Hi, How can I go about simulating a plastic vacuum forming process? So flat plastic sheet, then gets sucked close to shape with loose on sides, then air gets taken out and the plastic get sucked super close to the final shape? Thanks After something like this https://youtu.be/SAUpN6zpSpQ?si=J4zoIncZv2j9i5aH RE: Vacuum pack - tyFlow - 02-25-2024 Does this actually need to be simulated? Seems like a similar effect could be achieved just with modifiers (ex: tyConform). RE: Vacuum pack - Taz3ds - 02-25-2024 I'm after two stages, one where it loosey fits with slack around the bottom then for it to be sucked in tight to the shape. I tried a straight up morph target but didn't give me that flow effect getting pulled down RE: Vacuum pack - Taz3ds - 02-26-2024 (02-25-2024, 04:45 AM)tyFlow Wrote: Does this actually need to be simulated? I have managed to get thsi which is the first stage I am after but I cant get the edges and top to be smooth like the object underneath, is the only way to fix this by adding lots more geometry to the plane? |
