path finding variations - drawer14 - 03-03-2024 pathfinding is awesome, I did some crowd tests one of them is a bunch of actors trying to avoid rocks so naturally they would go in random directions to get to their destination but generally they all had the same path or overall decision-making personality, this mostly applies to other tests as well. I didn't have much control on randomizing the actors paths, I added a force after the pathfinding, but it didn't work as I expected so I think it would be great to have a variations slider to have less efficient or a bit random paths. cheers!
