Possible to extend terrain without changing the original? - Alexx31 - 03-05-2024 Hello, is it possible to extend terrain with more tiles / partitions, but not to change the original existing terrain tile? (kind of a non-destructive extending) This would allow extending a scene. I saw some tutorials to create more additional tiles, but they do either only clone the first landscape (and maybe randomly rotate, but do not offer to work free) or if they were strong modified also the first landscape is modified/altered. Thanks RE: Possible to extend terrain without changing the original? - tyFlow - 03-05-2024 I'm not sure what you mean, to be honest. How would that be different from just adding more tiles (which is already possible)? RE: Possible to extend terrain without changing the original? - Alexx31 - 03-11-2024 But is it possible to work on the added tiles while conserving the original in the middle just as it is? (except of course the boundaries to get a transition). Thanks RE: Possible to extend terrain without changing the original? - tyFlow - 03-11-2024 Sure just specify which tile names you want to affect in whatever operator you’re using. Default is the wildcard, but you can specify whatever name you want. RE: Possible to extend terrain without changing the original? - Alexx31 - 03-11-2024 thanks |
