Looping an Alembic fluid sim - SteveDeeGreen - 03-18-2024
Hi,
I'm experimenting with JangaFX's Liquigen fluid sim, it can export sims as ABC files, and people were asking about getting them to loop - (say for fountains, waterfalls etc)
Currently it can't do it, and they mentioned an external tool
I thought maybe TyLooper was worth a shot, but I guess the changing topology makes it a tougher proposition - I wondered if there's any chance of making it work with these types of situations?

There's not really going to be a way to loop a fluid, apart from duplicating the sim and offsetting it in time, then blending between start/end.
