Tycache - Rich - 04-15-2024
Hi all,
Ive been having an issue with export particles/tycache whilst following a redefinefx tut. The tutorial doesn't go into exporting the particles but i need to so i can render on the network.
Is my export paricles operator in the wrong place? Is there anything glaringly obvious that i'm doing wrong as once its cached it doesn't show?

If you put your Export Particles in an event it will only export the particles in that one event. If you place it outside of all event (by itself in the flow) it will export particles from all events in that Flow. And lastly, if you want to export from a select set of events, but not all, you can place instanced copies of Export Particles in several events and when you hit the "export particles" button it will export from all events containing that instanced operator.

hey there i am having a issue that when i export the particles those are exported correctly but i cannot see them with tycache why is that so?

If your cached particles do not have meshes, turn on "Display as dots" in the Display rollout.
