TyCache - Cull by ID - Lown_c - 06-20-2024

Hi @admin

I'm trying to remove a particle/geometry from my TyCache and it doesn't seem to be working.

I've inputed the Particle ID number in Cull by ID and clicked on Clear this, but it's still there.
Keep frames in ram is unticked.

I've also tried with previous build of TyFlow 1109, but it still didn't work.

I need to sort this urgently please.

Are these normal particles you're trying to cull? Or actor skinned meshes/cloth/etc? The cull settings only work for normal particle meshes, not composite meshes like skins/cloths/etc.

They were TyActor particles.  So how do i remove specific Actors/particles or is it a straight up not possible?

If your topology isn’t changing, you can select + delete like you would any regular mesh.

I didn't realise i could put an edit poly on top of the TyCache without breaking the animation.

That's sorted it, cheers.
