Force noise does not work - Xiaoshushu - 07-06-2024

ForceĀ  noise and spread noise does not work properly at particle age after keyframes are set; it is only produced once

Unfortunately the keyframe sync excludes keyframes applied to parameters in the noise rollouts.

So what if I want to control the intensity of the disturbance based on some specific attribute? tyflow lacks flexibility in parameter control

Just animate the Force operator's multiplier spinner instead. That can be synced to particle age and will have the same effect as animating the Strength value in the Noise rollout.

If I want the distance between a particle and something to be the intensity of the disturbance, or the distance between two particles to control the intensity of the disturbance, or I want the velocity of the particle to affect the intensity, how do I do that

You could use the Script operator to do that.

Not everyone uses scripts, I use tyflow because I don't like how houdidni requires vex everywhere, maybe you can add a by custom float option after the parameter
