Inherit materials for Groups - Tom312 - 07-10-2024
When using Birth Object with Groups, 'Inherit material from object' does not work.
Not sure if it is a bug or missing feature.
I am sending an example with three spheres.
In Case_A, three spheres are merged into single geometry. The material is rendered correctly.
In Case_B, each sphere is separated geometry, grouped together. Materials are wrong.

Note the "instance material" label for that setting. You need to render as instances in order to see the material. You are rendering as meshes.
