Script Operator - makco - 04-21-2019

Hi Tyson,

Happy Easter.
Im trying to make use of the Script Operator, to load some custom TM recorded values, but for some reason, i can't seem to make the script behave as i want... is super simple, and that's why i find it strange. I recorded a video showing you what i mean... would you mean telling me what am i doing wrong?

In the long run what i would like is for an object that is animated to deconstruct and reform later in the new location... I thought if i span the fragmented particles at the beginning and have the copy of them be locked to the animated object, then i can record the TM of them and later tell the others that have fallen or go somewhere else to get the TM of the spanned particles...

I'm attaching the file for reference.

M.

Looks like the attachment didn't work...can you try again? (Don't forget to click the add attachment button on the right after browsing for it).

Hi Macko,

I looked at your file...the problem is you're using an outdated version of tyFlow (v0.16010).

There was a bug in versions prior to v0.16011 that caused script channel names to not be case sensitive. So you've saved data to "Bpos" but the script operator is looking for data in a channel called "bpos" (and can't find it....hence the default value being the world origin). This has since been fixed, so, just update your plugin and it'll work.

Ohh ok, I'm sorry, I didn't realized this computer where I was testing this was not up to date.... I'll try again!!
Thanks a lot for getting back to me.
