motion blur on prt - houou - 08-29-2024
I'm getting this strange issue all the time.
when I export PRT and try to render as phoenix particle the first frame where the particle appears doesn't have motion blur.
The exactly same particle rendered directly from Tyflow ( not as phoenixfd particle ) using Vray shows motion blur.
seems when exporting the first frame of the particles prt doesn't get velocity saved? or...?
very strange, but It is not a isolated case I already encountered this before.
This time is very noticeble thoug and I'm struggling.
I tried many settings for speed, spawn, etc... no luck.
No, seems has nothing to do with the first frame... there are particles that never get motion blur ... hmmmm I will post the file later.

i tested PRT with tycache and also renders wrong.

I tested on a clean scene with a much more simple object and works as expected... hmmmm
I will try adding few thing and see what is what breaks it.
Oh I think that I know what it was.
If the birth has a range.
1 - 10
and that particles are Object Bind to somewhere, The new particles won't get the speed.
but only when exported with PRT. Rendered directly will get the speed normally.
weird.
here is a reproducible file and screenshot, but possibly is more an issue for PhoenixFD / Vray ? not sure.
