Animate a fracture across a surface? - steve3d - 09-28-2024

Is this possible using multifracture or another method to basically grow a crack and have it split the object into two pieces?

Hi,
the method here is to fracture before fully, but to reveal the fracture by a surface test (an animated sphere).
Example: Where the sphere touches particles (volume-inside, "consider particle shapes"), they were send into a new event where they start to crack away.

You can with the same method make things invisible or apply forces to certain areas only...
