Render Farm not working - Atalow - 10-04-2024
Hi everyone !
We use tyflow with a internal render farm in my studio.
But, we update our version of 3dsmax, and Tyflow, and now, Tyflow doesn't work on the render farm.
For the farm manager we use Deadline 10.3
3dsmax 2024 with latest SP with Vray 6 update 2.1
Tyflow 1.118
The configuration :
We have Workstation with completes installation (on windows 11) and we have render node on windows server with render configuration.
But all DLL of Tyflow are in all computers.
And when we send job on deadline :
- If all tyflow are not bake : tyflow object are not render
- If tyflow are Bake : Render node return error " Missing dll: tyflow_2024.dlo - tyFlow" and " Missing dll: tyflow_2024.dlo - tyCache" But workstation work well.
I mention : Version of software and plugin are the same on all computers of course , and before this update, Tyflow worked well with deadline, 3dsmax, and Vray.
And of course, in local, all work well !

It's look like, in render on farm, the file tyflow_2024_render.dlo is totally ignored by 3dsmax or it's not working !

If tyFlow is installed on all render machines (ex: in the proper plugins directory), then it's likely a Deadline configuration issue, where plugins are not being loaded from the plugins directory.
