tycache - display as dots, slow - ldotchopz - 06-14-2025
my computer lags when navigating when i turn on display as dots in the tycache, it has always done this, just wondering if there is a way around it? when they are displayed in a tyflow particles do not have this problem.

tyFlow uses a special drawing/instancing system to boost point display performance, whereas tyCache uses Max’s legacy point drawing system…so that’s why there’s a speed difference. At some point I may unify them so tyCache is more performant, but its point display is less critical, hence me using the old system for it.
