Multi Threaded Way Slower than Single Thread - rjanders0003 - 07-23-2025

I was working on my laptop, just a simple boolean subtract - box minus box
I was testing what time step setting had on calculation completion time
my laptop is Free License - I then went to my desktop to see how much faster the pro (licensed) version would be
To my surprise, my licensed version was WAY slower. I then did test on my desktop by Deselecting multi-threading in the settings Rollout (see attached)
Single thread completes in 1.3 seconds - multi threaded completes in 181 seconds.
I have attached two images to show the whole thing.
Two boxes - 40x40x40 cm - 20x20x60 cm - smaller box is animated to move through larger box over time - Boolean subtract smaller box from bigger box - continuously.
