"history-independent" and “export Particles” - jcjworks - 08-10-2025
"Export VDB, export Particles, export Terrain" cannot export sequences in "history-independent" mode. Could this feature be upgraded? Sometimes, editing particles in "history-independent" mode is very useful, but currently, particles in this mode cannot be memory-cached or exported as sequences with a single click. This somewhat diminishes the functionality of the mode.

Can you post a setup where export doesn't work? I can't replicate the issue here...simple tests show export working fine in history independent mode.
