tyflow cache saved with max file option - nayan - 08-20-2025 Hi! can there be a checkbox, where we can save tyflow cache with max file, like the one we have with tycache.... I face this cache issue while working with physx fluid, everything goes well but sometimes due to heavy phoenixfd sim, when left overnight for simulation, we forget about tyflow, and try to save the file and shut it off, if the we have this option, we dont have to worry about that. or if this is too heavy than we can have it in tycache option, where while phoenixfd is processing every frame, so does tycache also saves every frame.. my example was where I had an ice cube floating in fluid, my sim got finished and I had a power fluctuation, which kept the phoenxfd sim intact, but my icecube tyflow animation was gone, now I have to resimulate the whole sim again..... Thank you Nayan Bodawala RE: tyflow cache saved with max file option - tyFlow - 08-20-2025 No, that won't be possible. If you're worried about losing a sim I would recommend exporting to tyCache using Export Particles instead of relying on a RAM cache of the sim, that way the sim will be saved to disk in the case of a power failure.
