Deleting unwanted particles from tyCache - JuhaHo - 09-30-2025 I think I have asked this before, but is there a way to pick and deleted individual particles from render-ready cache? I might get nice particle cache, but always there one or two guys ruining the renderings. RE: Deleting unwanted particles from tyCache - d4rk3lf - 09-30-2025 Under culling rollout you have several ways to delete particles. I guess, for your case, culling by ID will do the job. So first, in Display rollout, enable to show you particles ID's, then when you see ID's of these few outlaws, just write these numbers (separated with coma), in Cull by ID. Sometimes it's hard to see numbers, so you have to move and rotate camera a bit, until you see it. RE: Deleting unwanted particles from tyCache - JuhaHo - 09-30-2025 Thanks, I tested this. In the beginning, it worked fine, but suddenly the particles were gone. I saved scene and restarted Max. Now the scene crashes on startup. I need to open one of my old back-ups and try some things a bit differently. E: I opened older version, and this time it worked correctly. |
