Using Tyflow as an emitter in Phoenix FD? - radcliffe.chris - 05-01-2019 Is it possible for example to emit Phoenix smoke from a fractured shape in Tyflow? Somehow make the inner faces of the fracture selectable to add as an emitter in a Phoenix source? Or just export an alembic of final objects and start from there with fluid dynamics? RE: Using Tyflow as an emitter in Phoenix FD? - tyFlow - 05-02-2019 PhoenixFD doesn't seem to have an 'emit from selected faces' or 'emit from face with matID of XYZ' setting that I can see...perhaps ask on the ChaosGroup forum if it's possible. If it is, then just set a matID or choose select faces in the Voronoi cap options and go from there. You'll need a Mesh operator with 'render only' off in your event(s) as well. |
