VRay MultiSubTexture - pjmcmullan - 05-02-2019 VRay MultiSubTexture can be set to Random by ParticleID but I can't seem to get it to do this. It would be really useful. I can't get it to work with any particle system so maybe I'm using it wrong or the problem is with the map?? I'm not sure about Vray MultiSubTexture getting info by particle ID or how particle ID works in TyFlow, but theres an Material ID operator that can randomize every particles ID between two values you pick. RE: VRay MultiSubTexture - pjmcmullan - 05-02-2019 Yes thanks, but I have an object that has a multi sub material which need the material ids to assign the right material to the right part of the mesh but I want the colour of one of those materials to be random, I was hoping to use the random by particle ID. If I randomize the material ID I just get the different material on different particles. |
