History Independent mode--memory caching fails - jcjworks - 11-03-2026
I encountered a memory cache bug in TyFlow’s History Independent mode: memory caching fails when this mode is enabled. Could you update this module? Many artists need to independently edit non-physics volumetric and particle sequence animations. Hope this can be fixed, thanks.

This is correct behavior, because history independent mode treats every frame as the first frame of the sim - there is no cache because cache entails history.
If you want both a cache and also no sim history, you can place an Inferno Erase operator above your emission operator, and erase the content of all voxels each frame, before the emission step.
