TyActor Non-Skin Deformations - No Animation? - mitchfx - 05-16-2019 I might be just misunderstanding how it works, but I cannot seem to get any non-skin deformations to animate for TyActors. I've tried animated bends, noise modifiers, point caches etc on my actor source objects, but the resulting shapes in the flow only use the first frame of that deformation. I have the "non-skin deformations" checkbox enabled but that doesn't seem to change anything. I was hoping to set up TyActor systems that don't rely on rigged/skinned meshes but instead use other types of vert deformations. I've also tried to use Alembic caches as the actor source but the same limitation applies here obviously. RE: TyActor Non-Skin Deformations - No Animation? - tyFlow - 05-17-2019 Hmm, that's odd. And just to be sure, you're adding proper Actor Animation operators and defining proper clip ranges and such? I'll check this problem once I'm back home next week. |
