Lifespan? - shadowkiller - 05-19-2019

Hey,

Sorry if this seems like an obvious thing but i cant seem to find an answer for this. I am using krakatoa and i want to fade the particles density over its age. In pflow if you set a delete operator and cache the particles, it would also save a channel called "lifespan" You could then divide the age with the lifespan to control values over the particles life. When i cache with the prt option and then load the prt in krakatoa there is no lifespan channel. Is there any way to recover that or do somthing that would give me the same result?

Thanks. Smile

There is no lifespan option within tyFlow simply because determining the lifespan of a particle is often a problem with an unknown solution (outside of the most basic setups where particles are birthed and then clearly deleted by a Delete operator in the same event).

However, it may still be worth adding a lifespan option for those basic setups at some point, although it's not currently on the todo list.
