Low CPU utilization when using "tyCache" - cgdvs - 06-04-2019
HI, Tyson. I found it when I saved ordinary particles. CPU utilization is very low. Most of the time, the utilization rate is only less than 10%. Do you know what the reason is?

The slowness is probably the time it takes to write to disk. Also tyCache compression is single-threaded.

i realised a big speed difference between exporting and live memory tycache even with m2 ssd with 1,500mb/s writing speed.
exporting prt is fast.
