Binding to an animating mesh - AndyMurdock - 07-09-2019

When I bind to the surface of an animating mesh, the anchor position is created at a surface position at the time of binding but that anchor position does not update as the parent mesh changes. Am I correct?
Is there a way to have the anchor position update as the parent mesh animates keeping the child bind stuck to the animated surface?

Try using Position Object (Set to Event Entry timing) to get your initial placement of particles along surface then add an Object Bind (set to Continuous and Lock to Surface) to make the particles stick to your animated mesh.

What type of bind are you referring to? Object Bind? PhysX Bind?
