Particle Distribution question - sdewitt108 - 08-01-2019 Hello - Turning to the smarter than me crowd here to see what I am missing here. I'd like to use tyflow to distribute a geometry particle in the fashion shown in the 2 images attached. I've modeled the shape of particle and can get it distributed over a bowl shape in a myriad of ways (birth surface, voxel surface, position object, etc.), but can not find the recipe for orienting the particles in the correct manner. Just wanted to throw this out to the group to see if I am in the neighborhood of where I need to be to get this type or orientation, or if TyFlow is perhaps not the correct tool to try this with? Thanks for your time and for taking a look. Sam RE: Particle Distribution question - tyFlow - 08-02-2019 The Rotation operator has a "surface align" mode for orienting particles to a surface. Got the answer from FB group. Thanks again. TyFlow is amazing! |
