Hello! i'm doing my first experiments with the terrain tool (which, by the way i find that is amazing).
My goal is to make the terrain to adapt to some pre-modeled roads (this is key factor, the shape of the road needs to be exactly this), and for doing so, im using the "object to terrain" tool.
Regarding terrain adaptation works excellent, with enough flexibility. After the shape adaptation happens, i noticed some "stretchings" due to the grid mesh being pushed. Note that these stretchings happen no matter if there is a big slope or if there is no elevation difference, as you can see in the image below:
Then i thought on using the mask generated by this tool/node to blur these artifacts using the "terrain filter" tool
Unfortunately there is no way i can load it into the "terrain filter" tool, hence the terrain blurs completely:
I tried Using the default "mask" rather than "meshmask" in the "object to terrain" tool, but when i select it into the "terrain filter" tool, there is no difference, the effect is the same as disabling the filter, i guess this is because i'm trying to blur the "object to terrain" tool rather than an specific part of the terrain itself.
Any idea about how to solve this, if possible at all?
Thank you!
