Hey Tyson,
Not sure if this is a bug, or if there is a proper way to make this work.....but I'm using a tycache with the re-timer function to get a slow motion effect for part of the simulation. When I use a tymesher on the simulation, it does not calculate any of the re-timed subframes. No re-timer, meshes perfectly on every frame....with the re-timer, it studders throughout the playback. I built the scene in Version 37....I updated to the latest 39, and it still happens.
I've attached 3 files.....
- In "*_a" you'll see that the tycache is playing back perfect on every frame with the re-timer enabled.
- In "*_b" you'll see that the tymesher only calculates every 7 or 8 frames
- In "* 2" you can see the random studder as it plays back with re-timer enabled
I'm working in MAX 2018 with NO V-Ray
Please advise on how to fix this, or let me know if it's a bug and I'll hold off on my rendering.
THANK YOU!
