I want to replicate the nano mites effect so the starting flow that I've in mind is to use the good old gradient ramp map to create disintegration isles. One grad map is used to implement smoke on borders and another to indicate what area cames to be disintegrated (the white one). You can see the flow in the image below but using it I can't send white chuncs to the next event. Any idea? thanks.
On fb, a guy suggested me to use a mapping operator after voronoi and remap the uvs fragments from the original teapot.
The solution works in part.
The trouble is: the remapping creates a not clear ring as in the upper image because fragments pass directly from black to white.
If I base my ring on original teapot UVs then it follow the original undistorted teapot volume but it appear detached form the collapsing teapot in the flow.
