Activate by other particle

I'm trying to combine the RedefineFX tutorial below with some other work I've created.

I'm hoping to activate this effect by distance to particles from a previous event. 
I have some TyActors that land on the geometry and I'm hoping to have those landing points as the start position of the effect, where the reveal will spread out from the landing points.

In Thinking Particles you would use an AB test node but I cannot find a similar node in Tyflow, only ones that test for scene geometry

The Property Test operator has a neighbors test which you can use to test the distance to other particles.

Thanks Tyson, I found something similar in a tutorial from Alan Mckay, glad to hear that's the correct way to go about it.
