thanks for the quick reply.
May I suggest - if you would be interested of course - to switch the licensing from renewal to subscription based?
The reason behind, is that our company - and I presume other companies - need justification before they allow any renewal to happen on licenses and this is a PITA for us every time to have to convince Procurement. Where, with a subscription model, the updates are handled automatically, no questions asked. So, this would make our lives much easier, that's all.
Now, one question that came up prior the renewal process from my manager, was this:
If we don't get approval for renewal at this time, do the licenses we have remain as PRO in the current version, or they revert to a FREE status?
We will renew, don't get me wrong, and the strongest justification we could use for the Procurement, is that we will loose support and maintenance, if not.
But, just so we know what will happen to our current licenses.
