Chain scale simulation Units

Hi,

I am doing a small test on a chain simulations .Simple physix shape and a physics collision operand.
Alll works with default settings if scale of one piece of the chain is roughly 50sm.

The moment I change the scale to a very small setup ( new one)
chain is 1 sm  in  radiius all simulation breaks apart..Adjusting the vocal size would not solve the problem so what is causing that
