Particle Spawn from Collision of Two Non-Particles?

Hello! I'm working my way through figuring out Tyflow and have a question:

I've got a TyIcon emitting particles and set up a collider to spawn particles on collision, but I don't want each particle to trigger spawning, just need one (or the TyIcon if that's possible - it would be way easier). I haven't found a way to trigger a spawn on the collision of 2 non-particles. Would anyone mind giving me a helping hand? See the screenshots below.
