Logo Animation Questions

Question
Hi all,

Been using tyFlow for a few days and.... WOW.

But I'm running into a couple of issues I'm hoping someone can help with

Sorry in advance for the long post.   I've split it into 2 sections.

I've done a reply with another video as can only post 1 video per message

--------

I'm creating an animation using my company logo.

As you can see from the video, the logo is above the ground, drops, then flies away.

I'm using a Mapping node to show colours based on speed.

------------------

The end goal is to use a voxel scale of 0.2 (video in next post)

During my tests, I was using a scale of 1.0 .

--------------

SIMULATION

For the 1.0 voxel scale tests, the cubes would still be flying away at the 400 frame mark

For the 0.2 scale tests, they're blown away before frame 300

I'm wondering why this is:

The cubes have a PhysX Shape mass of 1.5

Is it a case of; the smaller the cube, the lighter they are?

So a mass of 1.5 behaves differently if the cubes are small or large.

I assume, maybe wrongly, that if you have larger boxes with a mass of 1.5, they'd be heavier.

Any ideas? Should I maybe double, triple the mass?  Having said that, I do like the speed in which they initially fall so upping the mass would speed this up

RENDERING

Please see Corona IRs below

It's taking a long time to render after frame 59 (when they start to drop)

Geometry (top right in stats) is taking an age and now doesn't seem to be a viable option to render this  Confused

This wasn't happening before I added the mapping node but the mapping node doesn't seem to be the cause.

I've done a test with just a white material and it's even taking longer to render - Maybe it is the mapping (the fact that the feature is in the cache) but I'm not sure

This may be because I'm IR testing but if it isn't........  Cry
