Rendering sequence Tyflow calculates each frame form frame zero

Hi

I'm currently trying to learn Tyflow using the free version.  

I'm rendering a sequence and as the renderer (Arnold) progresses through the frames Tyflow recalculates from frame zero each time, it also seems to carry out the calculation twice.  

Is this normal behaviour for Tyflow Free?

Much appreciated if anyone has a moment to let me know.
