Boolean (Slice Volume) Issue?

Hi - when I try a continuous 'Boolean Operator' using 'Slice Volume' it only seems to work on the current frame and disregards the continuous setting?

When I use 'Subtract Volume', it works as expected.

I attached a video to show the issue.
