[EDIT - SOLVED!]
Hey Tyson!
Quick and (as always) almost certainly stupid, question. I have a simple animation of some basic primitives which I'm meshing together using Object to VDB. I've used this approach a lot but one limitation is that the VDB flow needs to calculate every preceding frame when it comes time to render or export, which can get pretty unwieldy the longer the animation gets.
While I'm working on it, I get around this by just manually setting the Birth Frame to my current frame but is there any way to tell the flow to only kick in on the current frame automatically? Similar to the way tyMesher works?
I will understand if my specific use case is too weird to make this work!
Cheers!

SOLVED! I set the Simulation mode to History-independent and it works PERFECTLY!
I knew I should have explored more before posting.
