Split by Inside object.

One thing I miss from pflow is the ability to split a group of particles if they are inside a specified meshes volume.  In pflow you can used the group selection operator and choose inside object and select an object in the scene.

tyFlow has a Object Test but it only seems to do above, below and distance from the pivot.

Also in thinking particles you can also use another particle so if one particle is within another particles shape test true.
