voronoi issue

Hey there,
I dont know whether this a issue or not, but hear me out

I created voronoi fracture of a box with 10 points
what i wanted was a splines of that fractures, for which i used "section" tool in shapes
Well I did get splines, but they were all broken and not individual splines from elements i was hoping for.


I dont know whether this is an issue.....maybe voronoi works in that fashion

but the object fractured in voronoi are not a closed polygons or I am doing something wrong

so how to convert the voronoi facture into splines
