Find target and select polygon

Dulplicate your model, select the face you want, invert selection, apply delete mesh modifier.
Now you have an object which only contains the face you want, without deleting the whole model geometry (non-destructive).
Now pick that model as target object for the find target operator, and the particles would just move to that specific face.
