Bugs crawling on a path

Hi tyflowers,

can somebody help me out on how to properly make some insects walk on a path (the path is conformed and constraint to an arm of a character)
The problem im having is the orientation of the bugs, they do not correctly follow the path, they do not correctly rotate around the arm,

any help means allot
