Ripped cloth not affected by forces
#1
Tried to create a flag blowing in the wind, while beeing torn apart for a TV-promo.

It was mostly succesful (and sooo fast compared to built-in cloth solver), except for the ripped pieces not beeing affected by the forces in the scene - they just fly off as if in a perfect vacuum.

In this case it didn't really matter, it kinda worked for the eerie and abstract feel of the promo anyway, but if I had to make them move realisticly (as in beeing affected by the forces of the scene) - how would I go about doing it?

Here a youtube-link to the animation:

Set your Object Test timing to "on entry".

Thank you for replying.

I set the timing to "on entry" as suggested, but it didn't really work. Torn cloth just sail away unaffected by both gravity and wind.

I'll attach the scene file in case anyone would like to have a look.
