Speed multiply by texture map from surface

Hello Tyson, is there a way to replicate "speed by surface - greyscale multiplier" from pflow in tyflow? Am I missing something? because I have used surface force operator but the results are not exactly what it should be. I am attaching a preview what I want to reproduce, any suggestions?

Currently the Surface Force operator does not offer a greyscale multiplier setting. I will make a note about that. In the meantime you can easily achieve the same result using the texmap sampling functions in the Script operator.
