[Paid Work] - Slow energy extraction setup
#1
Hello everyone, I'm not sure where this should be posted exactly, but I have an opportunity for some paid work for a Tyflow setup. I previously had someone create an effect for me in Houdini and export alembics, but unfortunately the alembics had an issue, and I have been unable to have that person continue on the task.

So the brief would be to essentially try and replicate (and possibly improve) an effect that simulates particles as energy slowly being extracted from certain areas of a human character's skin. I can provide a 3DS Max scene with all of the necessary objects and textures, along with as much reference as I can gather.

The final output will be an alembic mesh export, to be rendered in Corona. Successful completion of the task would involve delivery of the Tyflow setup, as well as proof that the alembic export works properly. Time and pay is negotiable, but from my experience (I am a CG Supervisor) with similar setups in other packages in the past, I estimate that this task should take no more than a day or two in the right hands.

The task is for an indie fully CG, action packed, steampunk themed, animated short film called Cyan Eyed. I've attached a WIP test image that will help illustrate the brief:

And another image that shows off the level of quality I am aiming for. To find out more, please visit:
