Tyflow Retimer & FumeFx/Phoenix Workflow
#1
Sorry if this a bit off topic, but it might be solved in tyflow, so i hope it`s a legit question.

Can anyone tell me what the proper workflow would be to use the retiming function in tyflow, when there is also some fluid simulations or other hand animated object involved? As a simple example, a rigged character breaks through a wall (tyflow/physx) and there is some dust (FumeFX, for example driven by tyflow secondary particles). So thanks to tyson, controlling the rigid body simulation is easy. But how would you solve this in production to get everything in sync when retimed? Or is there no way except rendering higher framerates and retime it in post?

Thanks in advance & Kind Regards
Ben

There are multiple ways to do this. The easiest would be to sim everything in realtime, then retime the flow and also retime the Phoenix/FumeFX container. PHX definitely has retime controls and I believe FumeFX does too. In PHX, for example, you can just copy+paste the tyFlow retime keys into the cache input parameter and everything will line up.
