Keyframe Bind Distance and Max Binds

Hello. I'm trying to make a frame structure slowly fall apart by shaking the ground like an earthquake. The shot is to demonstrate how the earthquake breaks down a house structure. 
I used PhysX Shape and PhysX Bind to connect plank objects. I used PhysX Collision so that the animated ground plane shakes the structure, and it falls down. In order to gradually break the binds of the structure, I keyframed Bind Distance and Max Binds, but it doesn't seem to be changing the results. 
Is there any way to make keyframing work for Binds?
If not, is there any other way to slowly break the binds?

The max binds value only applies to bind initialization.

If you want to break binds, use a PhysX Break operator.
