Curling Ropes

hey guys .. i was trying to get some twisting effect from tyspline .. how we can achieve such kind of effect?

Right now the tySplineMesher doesn't support cross sections like that, however, it's on the todo list Smile

i was wondering if it could be done with per particle physics .. but since the boss says its not possible .. hell no way to do it

Displace map maybe (VRaydisplacement) could do the trick?

Using displacment map and the twist in tySplineMesher.

sorry dude this is abit old. . i have already posted the solutions a while ago ... with splines colliding with each other.. thnx anyway
