Reveal Animatio Rotation Problem

I like to make a reveal animation. I fed the geometry into a Birth Object Op, then a Face Fracture Op, then a Scale Op set to 0%, so all faces get scaled to invisibility.
Via surface test, I animate a box over it every positive tested Particle is send to another Scale Op with an animated scale value.

BUT:
Additionaly I would like to have the particles started with a different rotation of the faces, so that each face rotates into the final position. But other than with the Scale Op, animating the rotation values have no effect.
can somebody give me a hint?
