continuous subdivide?

I am inflating a geo sphere and have part of it object bound via a surface force. I get stretching on the part at the bottom, i thought setting a subdivide openeratorto continuous would solve the issue but it doesn't have any effect. i guess i want it to dynamicaly subdivide it as it chages in size. 

Is this possible?

Make sure your bound particles are de-activated with a Particle Switch...that's probably why you're getting that stretching.
